Pilatus PC-24 For Sale
The Pilatus PC-24 is a light to midsize business jet manufactured by Pilatus Aircraft in Stans, Switzerland. Entering service in 2018, the PC-24 is marketed as the Super Versatile Jet, a designation earned by its unique combination of jet performance with rough field capability and a large cargo door. It is the first business jet certified for operations on unpaved runways, opening access to airfields typically restricted to turboprops.
Powered by two Williams FJ44-4A engines, each producing 3,420 pounds of thrust, the PC-24 cruises at approximately 440 knots with a range of 1,950 nautical miles. The cabin is 23 feet long, 5 feet 6 inches wide, and 5 feet 1 inch tall, seating eight to ten passengers. The 51 by 52 inch cargo door, inherited from the Pilatus PC-12 design philosophy, enables rapid conversion between passenger, cargo, and air ambulance configurations.
Unique Capabilities
The PC-24's rough field certification allows operations from grass, gravel, and compact earth runways as short as 2,690 feet. This capability is unmatched in the jet market and opens access to thousands of additional airfields worldwide, including rural strips across the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, and alpine regions that are inaccessible to conventional jets. The Advanced Cockpit Environment based on Honeywell Primus Epic avionics provides synthetic vision, autothrottle, and single pilot certification.
The PC-24 competes with the Embraer Phenom 300 and Cessna CJ4 on speed and range, while offering operational versatility that neither competitor can match. Its ability to transition between paved and unpaved operations makes it particularly valuable for operators serving diverse destinations across Europe and remote locations worldwide.
