Falcon 7X For Sale
The Dassault Falcon 7X is a large cabin, ultra long range trijet business aircraft. First delivered in 2007, it was the first business jet to feature a fully digital fly by wire flight control system, technology adapted from Dassault's Rafale military fighter programme. Over 250 aircraft were delivered before production ended in 2020.
Powered by three Pratt and Whitney Canada PW307A engines, the 7X has a range of 5,950 nautical miles, enabling nonstop flights from London to Singapore or New York to Dubai. The trijet configuration provides additional redundancy on long overwater routes and allows steep approach capability at challenging airports.
Specifications and Capabilities
The Falcon 7X cruises at Mach 0.80 with a maximum speed of Mach 0.90. Its cabin measures 39 feet 1 inch in length, 7 feet 8 inches wide, and 6 feet 2 inches tall, typically seating 12 to 16 passengers in three distinct zones. The fly by wire system reduces pilot workload and enables a smaller vertical stabiliser, which in turn reduces drag and improves fuel efficiency. The aircraft was succeeded by the Falcon 8X in 2016, which offers additional range and cabin length.
The 7X's intercontinental range makes it particularly valuable for operators connecting Europe with the Americas, the Middle East, or Asia. Its steep approach capability allows access to airports such as London City, Lugano, and other challenging runways that restrict larger competitors. The trijet layout, shared with the Falcon 900, provides an additional safety margin valued by operators flying long overwater sectors.
