The Cessna Citation CJ4 (Model 525C) is a light to midsize business jet that entered service in 2010 as the flagship of the Citation CJ family. It is the largest and most capable CJ variant, offering a range and cabin that bridges the gap between the traditional light jet category and the midsize segment. The CJ4 Gen2, introduced in 2021, added autothrottle and updated avionics.
Powered by two Williams FJ44-4A engines, each producing 3,621 pounds of thrust, the CJ4 has a range of approximately 2,165 nautical miles. The CJ4 competes directly with the Embraer Phenom 300 and Learjet 40, offering a wider range of cabin configurations and lower operating costs than the Learjet.
