Hawker 800XP For Sale
The Hawker 800XP is a midsize business jet that represents one of the most popular variants in the long running Hawker 800 series. Introduced in 1995 as an upgrade to the BAe 125-800A, the 800XP features improved Honeywell TFE731-5BR engines with increased range and payload over its predecessor. The 800 series lineage extends back to the de Havilland DH.125, first flown in 1962, making it one of the most proven business jet platforms in history.
Powered by two Honeywell TFE731-5BR engines, each producing 4,660 pounds of thrust, the Hawker 800XP cruises at 447 knots with a range of 2,540 nautical miles. The cabin is 21 feet 4 inches long, 6 feet wide, and 5 feet 9 inches tall, seating up to eight passengers in a double club configuration with a fully enclosed lavatory and an external baggage compartment.
Design and Heritage
The Hawker 800XP's mid wing design and robust landing gear provide excellent handling characteristics and the ability to operate from a wide variety of runways. The Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite replaced the earlier Pro Line 4 on many examples, delivering modern situational awareness with multifunction displays. The type's proven reliability and relatively low operating costs have made it one of the most popular midsize jets for corporate and charter operations across the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe.
The 800XP was succeeded by the Hawker 900XP, which introduced more powerful engines and an improved wing leading edge. The Hawker 400XP offers a lighter alternative in the light jet segment for operators with shorter range requirements.
