Gulfstream G200 For Sale
The Gulfstream G200, originally marketed as the IAI Galaxy, is a super midsize business jet designed by Israel Aerospace Industries and marketed by Gulfstream Aerospace. First delivered in 1999, it offers a wide body cabin normally associated with larger aircraft in a super midsize package. The G200 was succeeded by the Gulfstream G280 in 2012, which brought improved range and modern avionics to the platform.
Powered by two Pratt and Whitney Canada PW306A engines, each producing 5,700 pounds of thrust, the G200 cruises at 470 knots with a range of 3,400 nautical miles. The cabin measures 24 feet 2 inches long, 7 feet 2 inches wide, and 6 feet 3 inches tall, making it one of the widest in the super midsize class. It typically seats eight to ten passengers in a double club configuration with a fully enclosed lavatory and a full service galley.
Performance and Design
The G200's swept wing design delivers excellent high speed cruise performance with a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.85. Its wide cabin cross section, inherited from the Galaxy programme, provides a noticeably more spacious feel than competing super midsize jets such as the Bombardier Challenger 300 and Cessna Citation Sovereign. The Rockwell Collins Pro Line 4 avionics suite on earlier models has been upgraded to Pro Line 21 on many examples. The aircraft can operate from runways as short as 4,700 feet, providing access to regional airports across the United Kingdom, continental Europe, and the United States.
